Message from Miss Roberts, Transition Coordinator
Hello and welcome to Prestatyn High School.
We are delighted that you have chosen us and we are looking forward to meeting you and getting to know you soon. We are excited for you to start and keen for you to get involved in all aspects of school life.
I am busy preparing some intriguing transition events for the summer term to help you get to know us, each other and find out what Prestatyn High School is all about.
Whether you are from a large primary school or the only one coming from your area, I can assure you that you will get our full support, making you feel safe and happy and above all inspire you to meet your full potential.
I look forward to meeting you and I hope that your time with us will be stimulating, challenging, exciting and, above all, enjoyable!
Miss K Roberts
The House System
All pupils are allocated a place in one of our eight Houses and will remain in that House until they leave. Each house is equal in every way and you need to have no fear as to which house your child is placed in.
The Head of Learning and their Deputy have a team of Group Tutors, who are responsible for the daily care of each pupil. He/she works closely with the Head of Learning, who is responsible for counseling, guidance and discipline. Our Student Support team are also available to support students and one Student Support Assistant is assigned to each house. Should you have any concerns about your child, the Head of Learning should be contacted in the first instance.
